Visiting Program 2019
In June a group of former citizens of Frankfurt and their descendants were invited to the city of Frankfurt, the former home of their parents or grandparents. The invitation of the city gave them the opportunity to see the sites of the grandparents`childhood and youth, visit their houses, the area they lived in, the graves of relatives and former schools. The „Hessische Kultusministerium“ supports us by delegating a teacher to the project.

Our publication “Unsere Wurzeln sind hier in Frankfurt” was sponsored by the City of Frankfurt: Dezernat für Bildung und Frauen, Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft Frankfurt, Naspa-Stiftung „Initiative und Leistung“, Ernst-Ludwig-Chambré-Stiftung.

This hompage was made possible thanks to the generous help of the foundation „Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft“, Leo-Baeck-Program

We are especially grateful for the assistance and good cooperation with Hauptamt der Stadt Frankfurt, Gesellschaft für Christlich-Jüdische Zusammenarbeit Hochtaunus and Hessische Landeszentrale für politische Bildung.

We transformed the project into a registered society/charitable organization early in 2014, which was necessary to enable us to finance some ambitious projects, such as this homepage.

Everybody is welcome to support us or join our “Verein Projekt Jüdisches Leben in Frankfurt e.V., charitable organization”.
